About me - Andy Brown

Born and raised in Jersey, well travelled & after decades in the telecoms industry in Jersey I decided to take the leap and start up my own business locally.

Why in this industry?

When we moved into our house in Jersey with our first log burner we were a little lost as to where to buy decent firewood from, and over the years have tried various local & national providers. All had their pro's and cons, but I never really found a trusted supplier that I could just easily order good dry split firewood that was delivered without issue at a good price. There was always a compromise!

So I did some research, tested the Jersey market and in 2025 started up Kiln Dried Logs Jersey with the goal to deliver to Jersey based customers throughout all the parishes only high quality dry split firewood in easily carried bags, delivered right to the customers door or storage area, whilst making the ordering process easy and providing exceptional customer service every time.

Founded in Autumn 2025 I've already had a successful 1st season, built a solid Jersey customer base and had lots of complimentary comments about the quality of wood, customer service, my compact electric van and our subscription service, delivering a quality product every month without any effort or thought from the customer.

My aim is to continue building my local customer base to a manageable level (as it's just me), whilst not compromising quality, service and keeping prices as low as possible to assist with the ongoing cost of living crisis we're in.

Next day delivery is guaranteed to all 12 parishes in Jersey, without any delivery charge, and it'll be left where you want it, stacked somewhere to stay dry & during busy periods I'll be delivering 7 days a week to keep you warm!
